We warmly welcome all to come to worship God with us. Whether you are of a different faith background or haven’t been to church in awhile, we welcome you to come to services at our Quakertown Church.
Sunday
Our Sunday morning service is held from 9:15 through 10:15 AM. It offers a blend of traditional elements, confessions, and statements of faith. For example, along with more contemporary elements, we offer a children’s message and special music. Sermons are taught in series with both Biblical background and present application. Music is provided by three vocal and three bell choirs representing children, youth, and adults. Instrumental accompaniment is by piano, organ, and other instruments on occasion. Communion is celebrated eight times a year for all who profess faith in Jesus. A number of special services to enhance holidays and special events are scheduled as well.
Children are encouraged to attend the first portion of the service until the children’s sermon. Then they have the choice of remaining in the service or leaving for an age appropriate nursery for the remainder. Throughout, an emphasis is placed on friendship and encouragement. After the service, a time for fellowship is provided with coffee, juice, snacks, and conversation.
Saturday
Our Saturday evening service is held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 5:00 through 6:00 PM. It offers an informal and intimate atmosphere with elements of drama, dialog, and prayer. Meditations are taught in series with both Biblical background and present application. Music represents a variety of contemporary forms and instrumentalities. Communion is offered on the same weekends as for the Sunday service. At this time, there is no seperate childcare provided.
