Music Ministry

Music plays an important role at First Church and we are blessed with a vibrant music ministry for children and adults of all ages. We offer adult handbell choirs, adult choir, a festival choir and children’s choirs:

• Children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades can join the Cherub Vocal Choir.
• Beginning Chime Choir introduces children in grades 1 and 2 to handbells.
• Children in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade can participate in both the Carol Vocal Choir and/or the Carillon Handbell Choir.
• Youth in grades 7 through 12 can sing in the Crusader Vocal Choir and/or join the Agape Handbell Choir.
• Adults are welcome in the Chancel Vocal Choir and/or the Sanctuary Handbell Choir.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH CHOIRS WIL RESUME IN SEPTEMBER

Each choir meets weekly for rehearsal, September through April or early May:

SUNDAY
• 10:30 am: Chancel Vocal Choir

WEDNESDAY -
• 6:00-6:30 pm: Beginning Chime Choir (1-2) in Bell Room
• 6:30-7:15 pm: Cherub Vocal Choir (PreK-2); Carillon Bell Choir (3-6); Crusader Vocal Choir (7-12)
• 7:15-8:00 pm: Carol Vocal Choir (3-6); Chapel Bell Choir (7-12)

THURSDAY
• 7:15-8:30 pm: Sanctuary Bell Choir
