We offer free dinners to our neighbors in need in order to serve our community as Jesus taught and enable and empower volunteers to do meaningful service while showing God’s love.
Our Community Dinners are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Anyone can come, and there is no need for a reservation.
Our meals are fresh, balanced, generous in protein, and offered in a friendly atmosphere.
Volunteers are welcome provided they come for a look-and-see session before serving and fit in with our program. Volunteers might help with room set up and take down, final food preparation, serving food in a serving line, clean up, and/or assisting handicapped guests in carrying their food. Volunteers need to be polite and friendly. We require that volunteers not take requests for help from guests except with respect to the dinner. Supervision is provided so only basic kitchen and people skills are needed. For more information on volunteering, please contact the church office.
