YouthWorx

YouthWorx is our youth group for grades 7th through 12th. Anyone is welcome, and you do not have to be a member to enjoy most activities. OUR REGULAR SUNDAY NIGHT YouthWorx events are scheduled every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

 We are currently planning for the upcoming Confirmation Banquet Celebration which takes place May 19 specifically for this year’s confirmands and their families. We will all be there to honor and celebrate each teen on Sunday, May 20, their confirmation day. Please plan to join us as we rejoice for each one of these four confirmands and their next phase of the journey with Christ.

What a blessing it has been to share time and watch each one of these young people grow in their faith and friendships. Our calendar for the remainder of the year continues to fill with all types of opportunities. We are in the need to raise funding for our Youth Account through various fundraisers and contributions. We ask for your prayers on this matter as we continue to seek the means to provide funds for scholarships which teens may use for various activities, to cover numerous expenses incurred throughout the year such as food, supplies used for YouthWorx events, Christian learning materials (DVD’s, music, literature, etc) which may be specific to a particular project we are involved in, weekend retreat and day outing ex-penses and more.

 Pizza Hut Cards – Teens from YouthWorx are also offering Pizza Hut Cards for $10 which will help cover several ongoing teen expenses throughout this year. Stop by our YouthWorx table in the Narthex or contact Julie or Beth Interiano or Nedra Fritzinger for further information on how to get special deals at this delicious pizza shop. This project will be available throughout the entire 2011-2012 school season. Ask a teen!
