We believe that good stewardship is a vital part of growing in our faith. Stewardship includes giving of our time and talent as well as giving financial support to our church and its mission. There are many ways to share our time and talent with the church including participating in classes and activities, serving on committees, singing in the choir, playing bells, working to maintain the facility or helping with clerical support. Financial support is a critical part of our faith. We believe that all we have comes from God and we are expected to share generously from the abundance that God has given us. Our members support the ongoing work of the church through weekly offerings to the Current Account. This account is used to support the programs and activities of the church and pay for the ongoing operating costs including the salaries and benefits of our paid staff.
We also give weekly to our Mission Outreach Account. This account is used to support individuals in the local community who are having financial difficulties in addition to supporting the work of the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference and the wider church through Our Church’s Wider Mission.
During the year we have special offerings to support other missions. These include One Great Hour of Sharing, The Christmas Fund, Neighbors in Need, Strengthen the Church, and the Family Thank Offering that is sponsored by our Women’s Guild.
