Help Now:

QUAKERTOWN FOOD PANTRY
Please consider donating to the Quakertown Food Pantry. Here is a list of the most current needs, but they are grateful for any and all food donations received: peanut butter, cereal and beef stew. If you aren’t sure what to donate, please consider monetary gifts or gift cards to local grocery stores to help the pantry purchase food. Please make checks payable to: “Quakertown Food Pantry.” The Quakertown Food Pantry and First United Church of Christ thank you for your help.

Letter from the Quakertown Food Pantry:

Dear Friends in the Churches of the Upper Bucks Community, During 2010, you donated food to the Quakertown Food Pantry. Words seem so limited to thank all of you for your gifts to our Upper Bucks community. We at the Pantry could not have made Thanksgiving and Christmas special for our less fortunate without your help. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am including a few statistics from 2010:

Served:
Children (4959)
Adults (8330)
Seniors (1978)
Total individuals (14,267)
Households that visited the Quakertown Food Pantry (5659),

Volunteers (1333)
Volunteer hours worked (7597)

And then there are volunteers who forgot to sign in or who volunteer from home. I know that many of you volunteer on a regular basis, and we appreciate that soooooo much. This is a total community endeavor, and we thank you for your help.

Sincerely,

Tat Moyer
Corresponding Secretary
Quakertown Food Pantry
